Document [1991] Identidad Colombiana - General Agenda Spanish This document, created by Manuel Zapata Olivella, is a General Agenda (Temario General) of guidelines on how to organize conferences on Colombian identity using the material developed by the Fundación Colombiana de Investigaciones Folclóricas. The material--the "Enciclopedia Audiovisual de la Identidad Colombiana"--was one of Zapata Olivella's project to promote Afro-Colombian identity following the 1991 constitutional change, by which Colombia officially became a multicultural nation. These guidelines suggest focusing on topics of regional identity such as ethnicity, oral tradition, customs, music, etc., and offer ideas on how to use the related audio-visual material. It includes the titles of twenty-two episodes of the radio program "Identidad Colombiana." PDF icon

Pamphlet [September 1997] Jornadas Etnoeducativas Spanish Pamphlet of the ethno-educational seminars on Afro-Colombian Identity (Jornadas Etnoeducativas "Identidad del hombre Afro-Colombiano") organized by the cultural association "Raíces Negras". The seminars included talks by Manuel Zapata Olivella, Esteban Cabezas, Francisco Delgado, and Alexander Cifuentes, and performances by singer Lillyan Rosero and poet Eudes Asprilla.
